About Me


I'm currenty an embedded software engineer at GDMS. But I do a bit of everything and my day to day is more full-stack development. I'm working on a project that includes an embedded system written in C++ with a web application as its management interface.

I love growing and improving my skill set. While hard engineering problems that require creative problem solving will always be fun for me. My strength is big picture thinking. I often find myself being brought in on planning meetings with management. In the future, I see myself as a project director. My personality type is consistently INTJ-T summarized as "thoughtful tacticians that love perfecting the details of life, applying creativity and rationality to everything they do. Highlights

  • Automated a weekly progress report for the procurement and logistics department at the MBTA.
  • Conducted research and proof-of-concept to convince team to move from Angularjs to React.
  • Assisted with high level project management and decision making both as an intern and an entry level hire.
  • Designed light/alcohol sensing robot.
  • Created an automatic portfolio balancing script using python and selenium.

Interests


My personal interests include:

  • Gaming Nowadays, I only play to as a way to connect with my friends and just have fun by I tend to reach ranks in competitive games that put me at around top 1-10%. In other words, just under the point where I have to devote my life to a specific game.
  • Racing Karting is always a bunch of fun and I wish I could race more but it tends to be very expensive. I love to drive and ocassionally watch formula 1. I hope to get a racing sim soon!
  • Investing I consider myself quite financially savvy despite my age. I've always been very good at managing resources.

Personal mission statement

  • My purpose in life can be summarized by the following quote from socrates: "It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable". For me, this goes beyond physical training. I want apply my gifts and talents and rejoice in one I can do and create.
